One bottle, used as directed, has been 99% effective in removing the head lice and their nits!
The head louse in an insect which likes to live in human hair. It runs around on the scalp. It has claws with which it clings to the hair. You can't brush them out! It feeds by biting the scalp and taking a meal of human blood and attaches itself to the hair.
The head louse (Pediculus humanus capitis) cannot hop, jump or fly and once on a scalp it heads for the neck or behind the ears. Here it injects an anesthetic into its victim’s scalp before feeding on their blood every three hours. The females, which live for about 30 days, lay five or six eggs a day and attach them to the base of a hair using strong, saliva-based glue. The eggs hatch after ten days and the cycle starts again. Most children are allergic to the anesthetic and the glue and this causes terrible itching.
Clever little bug - this prevents the nit from being brushed or combed out of the hair. The nit shell is relatively impermeable to products designed to kill the adult lice except for NIT FREE MOUSSE!

CONSIDER USING OUR NIT FREE TERMINATOR COMB FOR EASY REMOVAL OF HEAD LICE AND NITS!
NIT FREE MOUSSE is an extremely efficient shampoo! It can lift pediculicide shampoos, pesticide poisons, hair spray glues, rinse-in hair color and other debris and irritants from your hair and scalp. If you use this enzyme cleaner and you have previously used hair spray or hair color or have used previous pesticide (poison) lice shampoos, it is advised you do not use this product in the shower. These previously used products can cause the hair to matte. If this occurs, simply apply a basic hair conditioner to entire head. Leave on for approximately 30-60 minutes, then comb and rinse.
Always keep NIT FREE MOUSSE out of your eyes and off your face.
If you get anything in your eyes, flush with generous amounts of water.
TIP!
Did you know regular use of Ginesis Exclusive Formula Shampoo has proven to be effective in preventing lice infestation? Ginesis contains the finest peppermint extracts, a government exempt pesticide.
There are three forms of head lice.
Louse is the term used to describe an adult. An adult louse is about the size of a sesame seed and tan to grayish-white in color. Adult lice may live up to 30 days on a person’s head, and the female can lay between 100 to 200 eggs during that lifespan.
Nit is the term for a louse egg. They are very hard to see and may be confused with hair spray droplets or dandruff. Nits are oval and usually yellow to white.
Nymph is the term for a newly hatched baby louse. It differs from an adult louse only in size. Nymphs mature into adults in about 7 days.
When a female louse finds its way onto the head of a person, she starts laying eggs, or nits, along with a glue that firmly attaches the nits to the hair close to the scalp. An adult female can deposit 6-8 nits in 2 days!
In a week or so, the nits hatch, and the newborn lice take their first meal of blood from the person’s head by attaching itself to the hair shaft, an inch from the scalp.
It takes about 10 days for a newborn louse to become an adult. Once an adult, the female louse can start laying eggs. This means it only takes 16 days for an egg (nit) to become a female louse capable of laying more eggs! Adult lice live for 9-10 days, making the total life span of a louse from egg to adult about 25 days.
How Head Lice Spread
Head Lice spread from person to person when people are in close contact or when they share clothing or personal items that have been in contact with the head or neck -- coats, scarves, hats, brushes and combs.
Remember...
Head Lice do not fly or jump; they can only crawl.
Head Lice can infest anyone...young, old, rich, poor, clean or dirty.
Avoid sharing personal items such as hats, coats, brushes, combs, and pillows.
Nit Tips
Nits are hard to remove from the hair.
Nits feel like little grains of sand stuck to the hair. You may feel them
before you see them.
Dandruff can be flicked off with your finger. Nits cannot.
Nits are tiny and yellowish-white. Dandruff is larger and white.
If you have used pediculicides (poisons shampoos) too much, the nit glue may cause the hair to become matted or tangled. Simply apply a basic hair conditioner after application of NIT FREE MOUSSE. Conditioner is applied on or over the Nit Free Mousse shampoo. Leave on approximately 30 minutes, then comb and rinse.
(As with any and all products, please avoid eye contact.)
NIT FREE MOUSSE is not a Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved or registered pediculicide (lice poison) in the U.S. Ginesis Products is only marketing NIT FREE MOUSSE as a cosmetic shampoo. Please note, NIT FREE MOUSSE is Generally Regarded As Safe (GRAS) or food grade by the FDA.
Ingredients: Purified water (aqua), anionic / nonionic surfactant blend, glycerin, protease enzymes, and peace of mind.
HEAD LICE ALERT
The current treatment for lice is not working. If it were, why are kids getting "treated" multiple times with poisons that are not even labeled "nontoxic" or "nonhazardous". There are many well documented health problems associated with the synthetic pesticide poisons used to "control" head lice. Any head lice control using dangerous, volatile, synthetic pyrethroids, pyrethrum and/or pipernol butoxide can cause acute or chronic illness, nervous system damage and even worse! It appears that head and body lice are become resistant to these toxins.
NIT FREE MOUSSE is the safest nontoxic way to eliminate head and body lice. You have found the safest, most effective, most cost efficient treatment for head lice (pediculosis) available. Look no further! No harmful poisons and the elimination of head lice for good. This is a highly effective alternative to other head lice treatments containing pesticides, which head lice have become resistant to and consistently failed. NIT FREE MOUSSE eliminates head lice infestations and helps to heal the skin and stop the itching for a very affordable price. Our safe nontoxic formula will eliminate your head lice infestation gently and completely.
Notes on NIT FREE MOUSSE - Avoid Eye contact
NIT FREE MOUSSE not only safely cleans away lice and nits, but it also cleans the hair shafts and follicles and loosens dirt, grease, soap, makeup, previous poison shampoos, lotion, hair spray, hair conditioners, dead skin, perspiration salts, dyes and other residue material and debris that have accumulated on the head and hair.
When you allow all of the above debris to get in your eyes, these materials may cause an eye irritation or burning - but not the enzymes; the entire enzyme cleaner ingredient list has had occular testing. The only things that could possibly cause any eye irritation are the surfactants and there are less surfactants in Not Nice to Lice shampoo than there are in regular soap shampoos. Soap shampoos can also burn the eyes; usually people rinse them out with water. If you get NIT FREE MOUSSE in your eyes, immediately flush with copious amounts of water.
FINAL NOTE: There have been some recent reports of head lice that have not only become resistant to pesticide poisons, but actually have mutated and are now living under the scabs with their nits. No amount of combing will remove these pests. Only NIT FREE MOUSSE enzyme shampoo will remove these pests. Head lice normally must pass through 3 stages (molts) in about 18 days before they are able to reproduce. If you suspect mutant lice, wash with NIT FREE MOUSSE every 2 weeks until the condition improves and your scalp is healed.
