Have you ever rented furniture from your local Rent to Own store? Did you think about what might have hitched a ride in the furniture?  Bed  bugs are on the rise and they are making an appearance in the Rent to Own world.

Many Rent to Own stores do not currently use a product to kill bed bugs. They are using a product like SteriFab that kills germs but does not work so well on bed bugs and their eggs.

Many stores also only treat their mattresses and don't treat the couches, chairs, dressers, night stands, etc...

Check with your store before renting to see what they are doing for bed bugs.
