Thought I would give you my list of the top ten places that Bed Bugs like to hide:

10. In the closet
9. Underneath dresser drawers
8. Inside of books and papers
7. On the curtains
6. Behind pictures on the walls
5. Where the carpet meets the baseboard
4. In cracks in the baseboard
3. Behind the head board
2. On the bed frame

And the number 1 hiding place for bed bugs is in the mattress and box springs
